The Garden of Gratitude is a cherished destination on the farm, spanning 100 square feet and highlighting our most precious (and delicious) plants. We adhere to organic and biodynamic growing practices within a permaculture-based model, with our main growing focus being perennial superfoods: nutrient-dense plants that keep on giving year after year. Our plants receive ample rain water from our collection barrels, and they are fertilized solely with our homemade compost/manure blend. We also align planting, fertilizing and harvesting with the lunar and planetary cycles, optimizing plant and soil health. By emulating and honoring the vitality and efficiency of natural ecosystems, we feel that we are working with nature rather than against nature to create our own sustainable environment. Most importantly, every step of our process (from propagating and germinating seeds to harvesting crops and seed saving) is done with love and gratitude!
